Talk about a one-two punch wake-up call to the Republican Establishment yesterday Nan Hayworth…that would be you dear! Ted Cruz & Chick-fil-A, so perfect together! Here, let me see if I can distill the essence of yesterday so that even the hard-of-hearing establishment ears will have no trouble…if that is even possible:
Americans Respond to Courage and Truth, because America IS Courageous & Truthful!
So here we are at the home stretch, and the Republican Establishment still seems determined to tango in subjective truth land rather than embrace the Texas Two-Step of objective reality! When you get right down to it, the fact is that while so many of us are socially and fiscally conservatives at heart, we seem to be more comfortable owning the fiscal side and afraid to publicly admit the social side…until we see these colors flying high on the mast-head of Courage & Truth as we witness Ted Cruz articulate what it means to be an American…and watch Dan Cathy demonstrate how to honor God!
And see how good and evil spar in this land at this critical hour in this our most defining moment. As the light of objective truth shines, the shadow of subjective truth (which is really the Progressive version of a lie) has to be walked back from the lips of Emanuel and the camp of those who seek to “fundamentally transform” America.
So this is shaping up to be a real nail-biter folks! You see, I don’t actually think the Republican Establishment is hard of hearing at all. I believe they hear us loud and clear, but they know that Conservatism means LOSS OF POWER by virtue of the Conservative goals and objective of Constitutional Reform = Limited Government…Yikes! Holy Water to the Vampire my friends! And the only way for them to slow that train is to put the brakes on the Social car of the train by dancing the Progressive tango of Political Correctness…true and utterly disgraceful cowards that you are…Nan! But look out your window! Do you see us all waving from the lines wrapped around every Chick-fil-A in the land??? 
The other aspect of this nail-biter that fills my heart with dread, because I know that so many who have been sent to Washington to represent the people lack the moral courage to do so, is the knowing that an evil so diabolical as to have taken this power is not about to relinquish it through a constitutional process it never intended to uphold. We need to be prepared for what this could mean. It occurred to me the other day and I wrote in Sunday’s piece, our next George Washington will come when we learn to speak God again. We sure did that yesterday…and it felt pretty darn good didn’t it!
