A civilisation that used to lead the world is in ruins—and only the locals can rebuild it A THOUSAND years ago, the great cities of Baghdad, Damascus and Cairo took turns to race ahead of the Western world. Islam and innovation were twins. The various Arab caliphates were dynamic superpower...

Apology Owed by Cousar!

  • Jonathan, I didn't realize until recently that you were a founder of this site. You recently posted a dispicable attack piece on the Holy Father without evidence to support it. Even worse, when evidence is presented to disprove your scurrilous attack, you refuse to man-up and admit your error...intentionally leaving such an abhorant falsehood to breathe. I would love continue to post on FT where I have made friends and enjoyed many great reads...but you need to correct a very serious misdeed my friend...or think of a new name for this place...Freedom Torched (by the founder himself) what a fitting irony that would be, eh?

You owe every FT Member, the Holy Catholic Church, Pope Benedict XVI and Jesus Christ himself an apology my friend!
