That came from a book I wrote in 1977 called "The Death of the White Male," which I distributed as a pamphlet 14 years later.
Why?
Because despite my Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley, despite the success of my many books, I was unable to enter the academic world, because I was a white male.
I had committed the ultimate sin in their eyes.
But they did me a favor, as it turns out.
You see, I believe in fate. And I believe in God.
Because that's how I got into radio in 1994, and I was in the Top 3 for a very long time.
I may or may not continue in radio.
I can tell you this: I'm out here in the wilderness right now, which is where I want to be. I put myself here.
And I believe excellence will ultimately prevail and that God put me here today on this Internet show.
