  • Today, inside, they dedicated a new statue of another American giant, Fredrick Douglas – a man born into slavery, but who knew instinctively that he was not born a slave. No man is. To keep a man a slave you do much the same as the cruel circus masters did to the elephant around the turn of l...

  • It seems that the scandals just keep on coming. First, Americans are abandoned to die in a terrorist attack in Benghazi and the American people are lied to about the attack by the President and members of his cabinet. All of the facts are still unknown and the cover up continues. Then we learn tha...

In September Miracle, Youcef Released From Prison

  • Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani was supposed to have been executed for refusing to recant his belief in Jesus Christ – but has now been released from an Iranian prison. After spending three years in an Iranian jail, he was acquitted on charges of apostasy and released from custody.

Thanks to an outpouring of support from Christians in the US and around the world, Pastor Youcef’s story became highly publicized and international pressure increased on Iran. This is an amazing story of prayer and persistence but should also remind us to pray for the millions of Christians who live in fear all over the world. Whether it is the Coptic Christians in Egypt suffering under the Muslim Brotherhood or the Christians being persecuted in Communist China, we are very blessed to live here in this great country called America. If you have a Bible in your home, never take it for granted and remember to thank a servicemember who protects your right to freely read it.
