STUNNING REVELATION: GOOGLE CENSORS PRIVATE DOCUMENTS

  • Google:  The BIGGEST Big Brother of All!
A Stunning Act of Censorship by Google

I've had a queasy feeling about Google for awhile.  The realization that THEY know EVERYTHING about me in a way government could never hope to!  Google knows what I buy, what I search on, what I read, what I'm interested in.  Google knows who my friends are.  Google knows what my home address is and what my credit card numbers are.  GOOGLE KNOWS EVERYTHING!  They even know what the front of my house looks like from the street!  Couple that with the fact that its founders are big supporters of Barack Obama and are deeply involved with GEORGE SOROS on various projects - and you have a scary combination.

Last year Google came out with a new product called Google Docs.  It's a service whereby you can upload your word documents and spreadsheet documents to their servers and they will provide you with free software for creating and editing your documents.  As a person who runs a several online businesses I've always been opposed to this because while they're starting it off as a free service, you know that eventually they're going to charge.  And it's not going to be the "one-payment" and you're done, it's going to be a "pay-as-you-go" month-to-month model - where you will inevitably end up paying far more for the software than you would under the current system.  Currently, you purchase your software once and that's it.  You don't ever have to pay another dime, until you decide to upgrade.  Under the Google system, you will eventually have to pay every single month for the rest of your life.

But the major concern is that ALL your documents would reside on Google's servers - giving them the ability should they ever wish to use it - to access your PERSONAL documents anytime.  It's not enough that they have complete access to all your email if you're a Gmail user, this would give them access to ALL your documents! I haven't said much about this until now because I hadn't seen any evidence that they would actually ever do this.  However, all that changed today.

In August 2009, I decided to test out Google’s new service called Google Docs. They touted it as a way to work on and share documents online. I had written a completely non-political
document about the “prayer practices” of my former church. (Redeemer Presbyterian Church, New York City, Tim Keller pastor). The church had begun teaching prayer and meditation "techniques" that were the same as Eastern/New-Age meditation practices.  I wanted to share this document with several people, and I thought this would be a good way to test out Google Docs.  So I uploaded my Word document to Google's servers and after much confusion among the people I wanted to share it with - I decided just to email it to them instead!  But the document itself remained on Google's servers.

Today, I went back to Google Docs for the first time in more than a year and discovered that this document had been FLAGGED AS INAPPROPRIATE and they had terminated my ability to share it!  Take a look at the image to the left (click on it for larger version).  This is GOOGLE CENSORSHIP.  They determined this document was INAPPROPRIATE!

But that didn't stop me from opening the document and trying to share it again!  When I did that, I got the following message (see screenshot - click for larger version):

I clicked on Request a Review and was taken to this page:

Notice the Yellow Warning at the top saying this document cannot be shared until Google finds the "CONTENT IS APPROPRIATE."  THAT'S CALLED CENSORSHIP!

Google has censored the sharing of this document for no reason that I can discern.  Clicking on their "Learn More" link takes you to this page:

So, I'm just trying to figure out which one of these they thought my little document on meditation in the church violated.  (In case you might like to see the document in question, it's here)

Most people use web services such as this without ever reading the Terms of Service.  And if they do read, they figure it won't affect them anyway.  However, please note the Term of Service below and know that when Google says they "reserve the right to pre-screen, review, flag, filter and modify..." YOUR DOCUMENTS, they really mean it!  They will really do it.

8.3 Google reserves the right (but shall have no obligation) to pre-screen, review, flag, filter, modify, refuse or remove any or all Content from any Service. For some of the Services, Google may provide tools to filter out explicit sexual content. These tools include the SafeSearch preference settings (see http://www.google.com/help/customize.html#safe). In addition, there are commercially available services and software to limit access to material that you may find objectionable.

Mark Gasster III Google were the ones that wanted to put our medical records on the web. They spy on us(street view) steal internet signals(street view), and the principles are Far-Leftist that contribute regularly to Barry. Not to be trusted, for anything!

Chris "Conservative before it was cool" Magrum Jonathan, I saw these services when they first rolled them out. I said to myself, "who would use this"?. It seems to me your use would be appropriate. Meaning that it was a public document. They rolled it out as a service to businesses. I had to laugh abo...  more

Steve Littlefield I've watched google for years, won't use it at home ever, if I have to use it at work it is very rare. I refuse to knuckle under to the libitards.
And Facebook only sees what you let them," like a poker player never show your hand to the guy across the table!"

Chris "Conservative before it was cool" Magrum Google has website owners, and webmasters over a barrel. To have a successful website you need traffic. Google pretty much has a monopoly on traffic. To get it you have to let google list your pages. To do that they call it "indexing your pages". It's rea...  more

Gina Logiudice Sanabria The internet is run by liberals, socialists and marxists. Maybe the internet was a deliberate plan to suck us up and watch every move we make and slowly take our liberties from us. So we need to infiltrate the media and politics and the internet as those...  more

Jeff S. Jon, has google given you any indication (other than what you posted, that is) regarding their reasons for flagging your document? Have they responded in writing? What, is going to church hate speech now? I'm downright befuddled here.

Chris "Conservative before it was cool" Magrum Exactly Jonathan, but there is a difference. Google just puts the information out there to find if you know how to look.
