BEIJING, Oct 21 (Reuters) - China's economic growth slowed to a near six-year low of 7.3 percent in the third quarter from a year earlier, adding to fears about flagging global growth and reinforcing expectations that Beijing will have to roll out more support measures to avert a sharper slo...

Whatever the post-colonialists might claim, the truth is that all Jihad offshoots, from Boko Haram to the Taliban, operate with the same degree of barbarity, with or without Americans or Zionists. She’s Israeli. She’s Jewish. She’d really like to write “love ‘em!&rdquo...

Facebook Forms Political Action Committee

  • FACEBOOK FORMS POLITICAL PAC & HOLDS OBAMA FUNDRAISERS

WE HAVE TO STOP FUNDING THE MACHINE THAT PROPELLED OBAMA TO VICTORY IN 2008
AND IS WORKING TO DO SO AGAIN IN 2012
    Join FreedomTorch.com Today

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg with COO Sheryl SandbergThe Wall Street Journal reported today that on Sunday, Facebook Chief Operations Officer, Sheryl Sandberg, held a star-studded fundraiser for Barack Obama that raised $2.5 million in one night.  In his talk President Obama said to the audience gathered at the Facebook COO's mansion, "all of you have a commitment to a particular vision of what America should be."  He elaborated on that vision saying they held in common, "the values of shared prosperity, being good stewards of the environment, making sure that we are investing in our kids, making sure that everybody has a shot."

Today, Mashable.com reported that Facebook filed paperwork on Monday to form a Political Action Committee called FB PAC.  Facebook says, "FB PAC will give our employees a way to make their voice heard in the political process by supporting candidates who share our goals".

In 2008, the Washington Times reported the one candidate who most shared the goals of Facebook employees was none other than Barack Obama.  98% of the campaign contributions made by Facebook employees went to Obama in the 2008 campaign.  This year, executives at the highest levels of Facebook are holding fundraisers in their mansions for the sitting president.

To my conservative friends I ask, how much more of this are you willing to take?  How much more of it are you willing to support and finance?  I started FreedomTorch.com in 2009 because I was tired of supporting and funding, with my visits, the Facebook machine that propelled Obama to victory in 2008 - and is working its heart out to do the same in 2012.

Obama-Zuckerberg DinnerDid you know every single Facebook page you click into earns Facebook a few cents?  Multiply that by the number of pages you click on every day and then multiply that by the millions of conservatives who use Facebook every day.  And you're looking at millions of dollars a month going to Facebook because of the time conservatives spend on the site.  With our visits and our time spent on Facebook, we are literally funding the Obama-Facebook machine.

Facebook sells ad space to its advertisers based on how many times an advertiser's ad is shown on a Facebook page.  Every single time you load a Facebook page, several ads are displayed.  This earns facebook anywhere from a few tenths of a cent to a few dollars - per page.  When that is multiplied by the tens of millions of pageviews generated by conservatives each and every day, this adds up to big money for the Obama-Facebook machine.

The same Facebook COO, Sheryl Sandberg, who hosted the Obama fundraiser this week, was the largest individual Facebook contributor to Obama's campaign in 2008, personally giving $28,500.  Her salary is paid for by each and everyone of us every time we visit Facebook

I want to invite you to join FreedomTorch.com today if you haven't already.  And I'd like to ask you to share this article with your conservative friends.  And remember, every minute we take away from our time spent on Facebook robs the Obama-Facebook machine of the cash it needs to undermine our country.

It's time for all Americans who love their country to "Unlike" Facebook.

Jonathan Cousar I don't think anyone should totally leave facebook if they don't want to. If we just took the time we spend there on politics though and did that elsewhere, that would take away from them probably 90% of our time/visits/pageviews. And that would rob the...  more
