With Memorial Day approaching Americans should be preparing to honor our veterans and military heroes currently fighting for us as well as remembering those we have lost. This honor should be especially due from our own government that has sent these brave men and women off to war. Unfortunately, th...

A driver was stuck in a traffic jam on the beltway outside Washington DC.  Nothing had moved for 30 minutes.  Suddenly, a man walks up and taps on his window. The driver rolls it down and asks, "What's going on?" "Terrorists have kidnapped Congress, and they're asking for a $100 million...

Why Obama Will LOSE the Next Two Debates as Well

  • The reason for Obama's failed debate "performance" last week isn't because he was suffering from a lack of oxygen in Denver (as Al Gore absurdly suggested).  It's not because he was off his game, it's not because he was worn down by the rigors of the campaign.  And it wasn't because he was just having a bad night.  No, it's none of those things.  It's because he has a bad ideology.  And it's because his entire smear campaign against Romney has been predicated on lies.

If you'll remember this, you'll know everything you ever need to know about American politics... the Left has to convince Americans to believe LIES in order to win. And when Americans believe their lies - the left wins.

The Obama campaign has been entirely built around lies.  Lies about America, lies about Obama's intentions and lies about Romney.  The lies about Romney were especially easy for Romney to dismiss because they were simply so untrue.  They've suggested that Romney is a criminal, they've accused him of virtual murder.  They've said he was a tax cheat and an America hater.  But when Romney, a man of true accomplishments, stood on that stage, making the president look ever so small by comparison, the American people quickly saw that NONE of the Left's accusations could possibly be true.  They had no trouble discerning that Romney couldn't be any of those things of which he was accused.  So half their campaign and hundreds of millions of dollars of ad spending were instantly wasted.

When the Right puts up a candidate who can articulately express American values and effectively refute the lies (which usually means just pointing them out), the left ALWAYS loses. That's why Reagan, the actor/idiot won in 1980 and 1984. He may have been an actor, and even if he had been idiot, he was able to articulately communicate the values of America to the American public - and he smashed his leftist opponents in back-to-back landslides.

Why did Obama stammer and stutter with his head down all night? Why did he look so clobbered? Because he was clobbered. He was clobbered by truth.  He was clobbered by the truth of his own failures.  And he was clobbered because it was the first time in four years anyone has been able to get the truth out to a large American audience.  And that's why he'll lose the next two debates as well. And it's why Joe Biden will lose his debate with Paul Ryan. Because Ryan is an effective communicator of American values.

Ryan understands the intellectual underpinnings of the American system. Surprisingly to many of us, Romney seems to understand them too. I don't know if that's because he's getting an education from Ryan or what... but he has displayed in recent weeks that he does understand. In fact, he displayed that last year when he gave a big foreign policy speech. Maybe he has just woken up to the fact that America isn't Massachussetts and he's been freed by that to stand up for what he really believes. Let's hope that's the case.

The next debate will be on foreign policy. Romney nailed Obama's foreign failures today in a brilliant speech at the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington. And there is little doubt he will use these same attacks on Obama in the foreign policy debate in two weeks (October 22).

No doubt Obama's people are prepping him to be more aggressive and to at least pretend that he's actually awake. But what is he going to do when Romney says, "Mr. President under your leadership, the Middle East is in flames... it's in chaos and you have no strategy to deal with it. You support our enemies and attack our friends, you have no strategy."

Obama will say, "blah, blah, blah, my strategy is to make peace in the Middle East" and Romney will come back with "Your plan to make peace has resulted in the first murder in 29 years of an American ambassador... a good man whose murder could have been avoided had you NOT DENIED HIS REPEATED REQUESTS FOR PROTECTION!  Your plan has resulted in the most dangerous Middle East in a generation.  You've been the first president in American history to turn your back on Israel, you turned your back on our other friend Hosni Mubarak.  And you've turned your back on another great friend, the Iranian PEOPLE.  And even worse, you've supported a vicious terrorist group, the Muslim Brotherhood, in their takeover of countries throughout the region.  The entire Middle East is on fire.  Is that part of your strategy?"

Does anyone really think Obama can "perform" any better next time under that spotlight of truth?  Not a chance!  As long as Romney keeps pelting him with the truth of his abysmal record, this guy is going DOWN!

Oh, and one other quick thing.  After Obama's debate debacle last week, the Left started saying "debates don't matter", "it won't change the race".  Well, of course debates matter and they always change races.  And the polls show they've radically altered this one already.
