Stossel does a piece on Government Health Care. Could this report have been the reason behind Stossels leaving ABC's 20/20 and becomming a member of the FOX team? I report... you decide.

I'm on a Government health care plan. . .on December 2008 I had to have a biopsy on a growth under my tongue. It was done by an oral surgeon and was called Medical Surgery.
After fighting with the health care provider for 8 months I got the surgeon paid. But they refuse to pay the biopsy lab! Do they contact the lab? No. I have to contact the lab and explain that they have to jump through government hoops and pretty much LIE to get paid. If I am allowed to actually talk to a person at the US Government that can speak ENGLISH I might get a few months reprieve before I am billed again as the non English speaker cannot understand how ORAL SURGERY is NOT Dental, yep my Government sponsored health car does not cover dental, eyesight, or any other malady other than what they decide is MEDICAL.
Oh yeah it is the best.

Just wait until you try to get medications. I am on meds for cholosetrol and diabetes. Normally getting meds using Tricare (government) Military Medical, is no big deal. I get my meds, they cost about $10 a piece. sounds good right? Well today they kicked out, in other words refused to pay for the filling of 2 of my medications. The Actose and the Lipitor. Imagine my surprise when I went to pick up the meds and had a bill of over $300!!! I was expected to pay maybe $40. Needless to say, I did not get either the lipitor or the Actose at this time. Id be on the phone with Tricare but I am thinking things are a little busy there at the moment. I will be calling them tomorrow for sure about this. Gotta love government insurance... NOT!!!
