RNC Sham 2012

The Convention is where delegates are meant to cast votes for the nominee, yet the Tampa Bay Times Forum was already plastered with embedded Romney banners, and additional signs for people to hold were also smuggled in to make it appear that many are behind him. All Ron Paul material was promptly confiscated. Ron Paul was going to be nominated on the floor after acquiring a majority of delegates from five states, but the RNC had a quick meeting in the morning and was able to change the rules last minute and raised the qualification to eight states.

    Chris ...Just Chris From what I see the grass roots are pretty well represented in the platform, and tone of the convention. Yes I think they are trying to downplay the influence on the face of the party, but it's unmistakably there. The proof is in the governing if they win.

    Jon McKeone It is challenging for anyone to follow rules when they clearly demonstrated they can be changed on a whim at the last minute. You'd think after a couple hundred years of elections the process would be old hat by now.
